QUESTION: Will there be special shopping hours
for NCC Convention Attendees at the Department 56 Mall of America
Stores?
ANSWER: Yes there are.
The first 1000 registrants to the convention will receive a special
invitation, pin and coupon from Department 56. For more
information on the special after-hours go to

QUESTION: At other gatherings there have been
open houses at the hotel rooms where you could buy old Department 56
houses & accessories. During part of the weekend you could also
purchase miniature village items such as carts, animals, hay bales,
scarecrows, etc. Will this also be available at this gathering?
ANSWER: Yes to both. At the Marketplace in
addition to being able to purchase retired Department 56 houses,
giftware & accessories, you can also purchase some of those hand-made
miniatures. After the banquet on Saturday night there will be room
hopping. This is a good opportunity to search for that elusive
Department 56 piece or giftware.
